About Scott County Court Docket

Scott County court dockets are divided among the Circuit Court Clerk, the Clerk & Master, and municipal clerks. The public county portal covers only part of that network. This private reference resource organizes the official search links, office details, and request routes so a reader can start with the court that actually maintains the Tennessee record.

Why We Built This Site

Tennessee permits inspection of many public court records, yet finding the custodian can be harder than reading the docket. Donnie Phillips keeps Scott County Circuit, Criminal, and General Sessions records. Michael Potter maintains Chancery dockets as Clerk & Master. Municipal clerks keep their own city files. Scott TnCIS searches Circuit and General Sessions matters but does not cover every division. We bring those boundaries, contacts, number formats, and request steps together without replacing any official court source.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, with no connection to a Tennessee court, court clerk, or government agency. Those limits matter:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Outside providers power some search boxes. Each provider controls its own service, results, privacy practices, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee for us, which helps support free access to this resource. We neither set the provider's charges nor control its results.
